Enough for a first-timer to make a character and join a session.

Welcome

This app is for one table night: make a character, join your DM’s session, track what matters, and roll dice together — without D&D Beyond.

How to play

This table is a conversation.

  1. The DM describes what you see and hear.
  2. You say what your character tries.
  3. If it might fail, the DM asks for a roll. Use the table dice.
  4. Track HP, conditions, and spell slots in the session panel. If a number is wrong, the DM can correct it.

You do not need to know every rule. Say what you want to do in plain language.

Make a character

Open Create character. You’ll walk ten steps (name → edition → class → species → background → abilities → skills → equipment → flavor → review). Stay on 2024 unless your table uses 2014. The tip under each question is guidance, not a lock — you can always continue.

Inventory

On Equipment (and later on your sheet), add items with name, quantity, weight, and coins. If you’re over a soft weight band, you’ll see a warning — you are not blocked.

Join a session

Use the DM’s invite link. You can play as a guest. When you make an account later, use Claim so the sheet moves into your library.

At the table

Open the session panel (it starts expanded the first time). Track HP, conditions, death saves, spell slots, and inspiration. Your DM can correct anything if needed.

Dice

In session, everyone shares one roll history. Pick dice, add a modifier if you want, roll, and delete a single roll if the table agrees. Outside a session, rolls stay private to you.

Account

You can play as a guest. Open Account when you want the sheet to live beyond this browser.

  • Create an account or sign in from the Account page.
  • Use Claim so a guest sheet moves into your library.
  • Hosts must be signed in to send invite links.

First night

Players can join as guests. After the session they can open Account, create an account, and Claim the sheet so it moves into their library.
