DM guide

Enough to host, invite, and run live stats + dice for DM + 3.

Host

Create a session, copy the invite link, share it with up to three players (guests OK).

How to run the night

You are not playing against the table.

  1. Describe the scene in two or three sentences.
  2. Ask “What do you do?”
  3. Call for a roll only when the outcome is uncertain and interesting. Easy 10, normal 15, hard 20 is enough if you forget a DC.
  4. Failed rolls should complicate the scene, not slam a door.
  5. Use pause/resume if you stop mid-session. Delete the table only when the group is done.

This app tracks sheets, live stats, and dice. You still run the story.

Across nights

Use pause/resume so HP, conditions, slots, and dice history come back with the same session. When the table is done, delete it from the host console or the table page — seats, invites, shared dice, and live stats go away. Claimed library characters stay; unclaimed guest sheets at that table are removed.

Live stats

Players can edit their own HP, conditions, death saves, spell slots, and inspiration. If something’s wrong, your edit wins (DM veto).

Dice

Same shared table history as players. Clear or delete individual rolls when the table needs a reset.

Guests

Guest sheets stay unclaimed under your session until they sign up and claim. They don’t get a take-home copy without claiming.

Account

Open Account to sign in before you host.

  • Only a signed-in host can create a session and invite link.
  • Players may stay guests for night one.
  • After the session they can open Account, create an account, and Claim. Unclaimed guest sheets go away when you delete the table. Claimed library characters stay.

First night

Players can join as guests. After the session they can open Account, create an account, and Claim the sheet so it moves into their library.
